Amidst Aeolian isle's summer rays,
Where turquoise waves caress stone-strewn bays,
We pondered on the self and not,
And questioned where identity is wrought.
Who am I, who are you?
When do we see each other anew?
In nature's realm and life's design,
We found the boundaries oft entwine.
But in our musings, we uncovered more,
A friendship forged amidst the shore,
Where self and nonself fade away,
And two souls simply coexist and play.
